libguestfs-perl software package provides guest disk image management system - Perl bindings, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libguestfs-perl
libguestfs-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libguestfs-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libguestfs-perl *
You will get with libguestfs-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
